Instead of getting a sharpie/permanent marker, look for a fabric marker. You can find them at your local JoAnne's, Michael's, Hobby Lobby, or any other craft store. Even though I am not sure I would say permanet marker but just to make sure ask the store you got them from or the company that mades them.
