Ignatz answered Tuesday February 26 2008, 12:28 pm: If you want to avoid the whole copyright issue, search for artists who release their music under Creative Commons licenses. This allows for downloading and sharing of the files, as long as you don't sell them. Get a torrent client like BitTorrent and Google search under "legal torrents"; that'll give you a starting point. Also check out [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) for a listing of websites, record labels and artists that make their music easily available and don't mind if you pass a copy along to your friends.
Antnorwe answered Saturday February 23 2008, 2:10 pm: Whatever you do, DON'T DOWNLOAD LIMEWIRE. If you download music illegally and you get caught, you face a jail sentence and an unlimited fine.
Now that that bit is over, back to the music. Are you sure the music was deleted off your PC? Or was it just the music player. Because the music could still be on your PC and you'll just need to add the music to your music players library. [ Antnorwe's advice column | Ask Antnorwe A Question ]
