TELLING MY PARENTS THE TRUTH

Question Posted Wednesday February 20 2008, 7:55 pm

I'm going to the doctor friday for a virginity test. I don't want to break my mom's heart. Is there anyway I can make it seem like I'm a virgin? They are checking physically..any advice?

First off...there's no way to make it seem like you are a virgin if you aren't. There's a theory that you can rebuild your hymen by not having sex for 7 years, but i'm not sure that that is at all true. If you use tampons, it is possible that your hymen broke while using them, like mine did. The best advice I can give is for you to just tell them. They're going to find out anyways and they're going to be embarrassed, disappointed and not to mention really angry with you if they have to have a doctor tell them what you should have. Just tell them. Don't be afraid! I'm here if you need to talk :)
