Can anyone buy the syrup Ipecac? Or do you have to be eighteen or have a prescription or soemthing.

I'm not tryign to make myself throw up so don't answer this about that

You don't need a prescription or ID, but it's not stocked everywhere and it'll be difficult to find. Also, some places might refuse to sell it to you; this is their choice and not the law.

Syrup of Ipecac is pretty useless. It's no longer recommended for poisons, and it is a mild poison itself. Extensive use of Ipecac could kill you.

You have to be 18 to buy any type of cough medicine unless you have a valid prescription signed by your doctor.

I tried to purchase cough syrup [tylenol] for my little brother, but I'm 15, and I was carded. So, that would be a no.
