16/f. Hi I'm a junior in high school and I like this guy, let's call him Nate. He's also a junior, but he's dating this girl, lets call her Jen. She is a senior though. Nate and I met at the beginning of this year but have actually known of eachother for a while. We've had Chemistry class toghether all year and have always worked in the same lab groups. There has always been flirting and playfulness between us. We have hung out 3 times out of school. The last time, Jen was there. A week later they started going out. It has been like two weeks since then. I seem them in the halls together before and after 2nd period. Then during 6th period(chem), we flirt a lot. I've had so many people tell me he and I need to get together and that we'd be so cute. I really like him, what should I do? Thanks.

Well, if they are together and happy, don't get between them. That's just rude and it won't get you any points with Nate. Just give them time, and see how things work out. Don't be too flirty with him, because that's disrespectful to Jen, whether or not you like her. Remain his friend so that you don't lose your chances of being with him.
But think about it. Do you really want to be with a guy who continues to flirt with girls other than his girlfriend? If he does it to her, he could do it to you if you two date. Keep that in mind. Hope I helped!

I say wait for him. I know its lame but what can you do. Dont be the kinda girl that breaks them up; it causes drama and hate. And dont be the girl that sits by the phone waiting for his call either. Just wait for him to come to you.
