i signed up for face book and it said it will send an email to me so i can confirm my account, but it hasnt yet. does it usually take this long? and is facebook different from myspace where the only way u can view someones comments and profile is by being their friend?

yeah it takes awhile to get it, but try again if you think its been to long..
and the person below me is wrong.. you can view peoples profiles and comments without being there friend.. but some people set there profile private settings so that you cant see them, but if they havent set there privacy settings then yeah you can see there profile.

When did you send it in? If you haven't recieved it by 24 hours, try again.
Yes, you can only view someone's profile by being their friend. However, you can still see the main picture of the profile and some information, plus an add request, in their searches.
