baby assignment!

Question Posted Sunday February 17 2008, 3:19 pm

You know in highschool when you get assigned as parents and have to take care of a fake baby? Is that just some fake thing on tv or do you actually have it in school? if so, what class and what grade?

its sooooooooooooooooo bad. my school gets it for a weekend, friday afternoon till monday morning. it cried for my friend every 2 hours, you have a minute to wave your sensor bracelet above it. for us its only offered to 9th and 10th graders in a class called infants and toddlers

Yeah, it's real. The people at my school had to carry around an egg. That's only if you take a Home Ec class, like Personal/Family Development or Life Skills or something.

Usually it's a Health class or even Home Economics. Some schools make you do it and others don't. Some schools either use bags of flour, eggs, or baby dolls. But to answer your question, it's real, haha.

Over at my school it was only in a class you optiviley choose called ''health and social care'', and yes you would have a baby that is set to wake you up all hours of the night, wet itself, need hugging, feeding etc etc.

Its usually in year 10 & 11..the last 2 years of school!

Apparently its very hard work. Good Luck! <3Marizzlex
