today, i noticed i had a pulse above my pelvic bone. (basically like where the zipper of your jeans would be) that was never there before. i can feel it when i'm sitting down, and its not constant. sometimes i'll feel it for like a second and then i don't for like the next minute and then i'll start feeling it again. is there something wrong with me?
PunkieFreak4690 answered Tuesday February 12 2008, 11:16 pm: I never heard of feeling a pulse around the pelvic bone but I think that isn't a certain place to figure out your pulse. To know more accurately what your pulse is, try feeling a pulse on your wrist or on your neck. If you feel an abnormal pulse such as a beat then it skips, and beats again, that is a problem. Contact your doctor immediately because that can be something serious.
If you have any more details, let me know and I may be able to help out a bit more but abnormal beats are not good usually so call up your doctor.
