What does it mean that you have to embed to your website???

I'm trying to upload videos to my youtube account and evrytime I try and upload a video it says I have to embed to my website....sorry if this sound stupid but i have no idea what it mean that I have to embed....

So can anyone tell me what it means???

it just means that anyone can copy a code that puts it on their website or something like that
