Outfit made from recycled stuff representing fake girls.....
ok so for a school project i need to make an outfit for a barbie
the outfit needs to be made from recycled items and there needs to be a theme
i was thinking i could make a barbie representing what the media is making girls want to be
so far i have a blonde barbie with dark roots, and a bad tan

Well, you could use shirts with the half words across them, like HOLLI and ABER. This Barbie should probably have too much makeup, and a short skirt/shorts. Leggings would work best underneath. Or legwarmers over flipflops. Maybe a bellybutton piercing, with the shirt showing a little. Maybe she should wear the sweatpants with the words SEXY and JUICY on the back if you don't want the skirt... hm...

You could take like... pieces of magazines to make tights, with words like GUCCI or PRADA on them. For a skirt, you could make a miniskirt from a milk carton side, to give it shape, and paper it with fashion words as well. You could make a halter from a bag of chips to get the shiny color on the inside. Jewelry could be made from soda cans and such, or tinfoil. Same for shoes.
