My mom is trying to change me from being a tomboy to a stupid prep i dont want to be a prep i want to be who i am and i have been exactly that my whole life when i was 3 i would sit down at the tv waching nascar alone its kinda weird how im a tomboy i didnt grow up with a dad just my mom and sister im beautiful the way i am and i dont need to change why caant my mom make my older sister a stupid prep (if its possible to make my sister more prepy than she already is) what should i do about this my mom is making me throw away my triathilon t-shirts i cant get those things anywhere eles and all the clothes that i got from my favorite place on earth riverview camp for girls they are in the garbage what should i do about this i am the way i am

Maybe give some free advice about: Random Weirdos? divatothemax01 answered Sunday February 10 2008, 9:22 am: if your mom is really on your case, you could always compramise. like she doesnt need to throw away your colthes, you could just make them look a little more prepy for her. example, if you ganna were a baggy t, were a tanktop under it showing a little that matches with the shirt, and then the shirt over tied back with a hairtye. and a nice pair of fitting jeans with your hair nice. you dont have to go full out for her. i mean this could be really bugging her and shes trying to help you know.
thats just my thought.
or you could try to talk to her calmly, you know without like screaming and yelling at eachother.

Maybe your mom never got to be a prep in High School and is trying to do what she thinks is best for you, but really is thinking of herself. Do you get what im saying?
I say you just take your clothes out of the garbage and put them back where they belong, then sit and talk with her calmly. Like an adult.
