How can I tell if...

Question Posted Monday February 4 2008, 1:36 am

...my boobs are growing? They've kinda been itching lately. Is that normal? Does that mean they're getting or going to get bigger? Thanks.

Hi Hun,
Well, if it is itchy it could just be irritant skin on a sensitive area, but if the aerola is bigger than usual it is growing, you may also feel slightly more pain towards your breasts.

you can tell that they are growing if they hurt or feel sore when you press on them. and about the itching, i have heard from people that they think that when they itch they are growing, becuase mine used to itch too, but im not completley sure about that. i hope i helped :)!

Some people think it means that your breast are stretching but that is an urban legend. I have confirmed that with a medical doctor[M.D.] If you are feeling itchiness in your breasts, it is most likely due to dry skin or irritation. The skin on your breasts is often more delicate than on other parts of your body, so you might want to use a moisturizer [e.g. coco butter] to get rid the problem. If you were tanning, that can lead to the factor of dry skin too so avoid tanning for a while.
