How do i appear idle on aim

I never appear idle on aim, and i want to know how i can

yah like the person below said, you cant move your mouse for like 10 minutes and then you'll be idle. but if you havent touched it for a long time and still doesnt say your idle, then its probably your settings. go to setup then preferences, then go under privacy and about the middle of the page there should be something that says allow users to see: ..how long i've been idle, and it should be marked, if not then check it and it should say that you're idle when you are

You only appear idle on AIM if you haven't moved your computer mouse for a certain amount of time. Once you move that mouse, your un-idle. I think the time it takes is 20 minutes.
