i swear i am not in love . . . but i wouldnt know cuz i have never fell in love, other than admiring celebraties like Arron Yan from Fei Lun Hai or G-dragon from Big Bang (p.s check them out they are dreamy !)

in my school, between all of the people i know, they know me as the 'tomboy' .
sometimes i ask my 'girly-girl' friends to help me become girly but . . . i hate it ! they tell me all these rules you have to follow . . . and its very annoying ! so i said "i'd prefer to be a tomboy so LEAVE ME ALONE !" (they wont stop leaving me alone !)
most of my friends have a love life and i LOVE getting involved wether it involves me or not !(:
the pretty much only reason i get involved is because my life is very , very NOT interesting so i get invovled with others !^^ but my friends dont hate it . . . because if there are problems i am always there for them !
anyway~
i have been told by most people that i REALLY REALLY act like a guy !

im not offened at all . i like it that i have that kind of appreance . . kinda .The only false impression is that i wont have a good love life .
( i read a lot of mangas so i often pick up idea from it, like when this girl and this other guy hate eachother during most of the manga but end up together anyways, so i often start off with a best friend relationship, but i know my limits and i know whether i should like him or stay away, [i never told anyone this . . .NEVER !])

i am sometimes thinking about 'him' and whenever things involve love, i think about him . @.@
but i most certainly dont think of him that way .
my friend says that she always sees us together .
but i mostly only think of him as my brother.
im pretty sure he only thinks of me as his friend also . im not bothered by it because im not fragile . when we stand next to each other we look like really good friends rather than a couple .
i dont see why my friends keep saying i like when most CERTAINLY !!! dont . but i think about him a lot and i often care for him if gets a scrath or something . . . as if i was his mom .
i always(somtimes) help with school work and stuff.
and i am always kind to him . always lending him stuff . . .
why am i this way ?
i really dont like him at all ! hes like a brother to me , really !

Well....that is different. Ha ha.
Anyways let me tell you something. I know its such a cliche' but its true. Be who you want to be. If those girls were really your friends they would respect your wishes to stay a tomboy. (I would tell them that) I cant speak for tomboys because i am a girly girl but i am not so girly that i cant get dirty. I just am half and half. Im me. And if you want to be girly some more, then just half it. Like wear nice clothes and make up and fingernail polish or something, but just dont be afraid to be rough. And i think you have a good thing having a guy friend. I have a guy friend that is like a brother to me and i dont like himm like that. Guys dont judge you when you are a girl unless they know. And somehow they find out. They are way WAY nicer than us girls, well most. (e.g. look at fighting style: guys-punch each other and are friends afterwards...girls-call each other names, pull your hair, spread rumors, hold grudges) see how it works?
And another thing, maybe you just have a good heart. He is like your best friend. I dont think about my guy friend about love. But maybe you just have gotten to know him and your heart is trying to tell you that there is a little spark there that could turn into a forest fire. And your brain is telling you that it could never happen.

Interesting... Being a tomboy has to be difficult for girls at your age. My wife, who was raised by her dad, is a tomboy. It's actually a good thing because there's no nagging when football is on and she's a cheap date, doesn't mind going to Taco Bell for dinner. She doesn't mind hanging around when my guy friends are over either. Only thing that bugs me is her wearing my damned shirts all the time!
To answer your question, you do "stuff" for him because you care. There's a big difference in having romantic feelings for someone and caring for someone's wellbeing. You just sound like your more mature for you age and understand there is a difference too, it's all about growing up.
