my hair
i have naturally brown hair, but i get blonde highlights. so i'm pretty blonde. but i want to dye my hair completely blonde.but it's so expensive to get it done at a salon. i wanted to do it myself. is it safe? or will i ruin my hair. any good products?

it depends on what dye you use..try loreal, one that says for darker hair might work better. just be sure to follow all the directions on the box, dont leave it too long, and wear gloves!! just remember if you have highlights, theyll show up lighter than the rest of your hair, so be sure not to go tooo light..try a light-medium blond. p.s..im in cosmotology at school, so i know quite a bit about hair.. =) good luck!

If you are careful, and follow the instructions you should be fine. I like the Clairol color dying kits.
Make sure that before you dye your hair- at least 2 weeks prior- you condition your hair with conditioner.
On the box , I believe it says not to wash your hair the day you dye it, so make sure to read the box.
