so i have pierced my belly button before, many many times. and out of all those times, i failed to either get it through, or to leave it in for a while. so basically now i am stuck with scar tissue that is very thick, about 3/4 cm thick and i want to know how to get rid of this. i plan on getting my belly button pierced profesionally when im 18 so what can i do to get rid of this. and please dont say time cause first time i tried to pierce if was when i was 12 and now im 16 and scar tissue is still thick. so what should i do to minimize the scar tissue?
Amazing_April answered Monday January 28 2008, 6:00 pm: There is nothing you can do to minimize it. Once it's there it's there. Mine was the same as yours. I pierced it myself (stupid i know) 3 times and there was scar tissue. The people who pierced it said that the needle will pierce right through it. I got mine done and it hurt much more due to the scar tissue but the needle went right through with no problem. Hope I Helped! [ Amazing_April's advice column | Ask Amazing_April A Question ]
