It can get intense, but it is the best exercise you can do to keep you in shape and promotes weight loss. I would suggest running 5 days a week. Maybe just do it monday through friday. But don't worry, it doesn't have to be tedious. Depending on your schedule with school, friends, extra activity, things you do with your family, etc., that should help you to decide when you exercise. As long as you get in at least an hour of it every day, you should see results. Try starting out with a light jog and work it up to a steady run. For the other 2 days, whichever you chose, you should take a break from running and try something else. Maybe walking fast pace or doing little exercises here and there. You can always give yourself a day off though. Also, if you want to see results that last, you have to watch what you eat. Diet and exercise should go together. You can try searching google for more tips.
