so ive known this kid for about 5 years now. we've been like supposively "best friends" for about 2 years now. he is my cousins neighbor so we use to hang out ALL the time. like everyday in the summer. before he was going out with his girlfriend everyone would be like are you two going out (because of the way we acted towards each other) but since we go to different schools i hardly see him anymore :( he has a girlfriend of about a year and a half. keep in mind he is 16. ive always had a thing for him for about 2 years now but he doesnt know anything about it! im not one to share my feelings; ive never had a boyfriend. but everyone thinks im so gorgeous and are blown away when they find that out. we have the greatest talks but im just so jealous because i wish he could be mine. but i know he is compeletely in love with his girlfriend and she is absoultely gorgeous. he texted me one day about two, three weeks ago and was like i miss you so much. i was talking to nick (my cousin) at lunch today and i was like gosh i miss her alot, i really wanna hangout with her again. i was like awww. i seen him tonight at a hockey game because he wanted me to go. it was a girls game and it was his school vs. my school and his girlfriend was playing. when i came with my two other friends he was like come on kristin sit by me and told my cousin to scoot over haha. so he would like wisper stuff in my ear. he always jokes around and was like yeah kristin (me) was the first time i "did it" and we always just joke around like that and i fall for him all over again & there was this older guy that he knew from hockey that was sitting next to him and he was like gosh isnt he pretty, and the guys looks at me and just smiles. i use to just be really angry at him because all he does is hangout with his girlfriend and cares about her now, and plus im jealous but everytime i hangout with him it feels so right. nobody knows i mean like nobody that i have a crush on him =p i try so hard to get over him because i know him and his girlfriend will probably be together for a long time (unfortunately) and i know if they broke up we could probably have a thing. telling him my feelings wouldnt help any either. i mean i know he is in LOVE its obvious. he doesnt see any other girl like he sees his girlfriend. she is his first everything (if you know what i mean). what do you think i should do. hes my best friend. and i really care about him & always feel comfortable around him. i try really really hard to be happy for him and i am happy that he is happy but for me, its like im dying inside. and i never want that night to end when we hangout...

ive beenin this cituation many times befoer and the best thing you can do is justy be his friend for now b/c he already has a gf adn it sounds to me like he really likes her. so just be there for him when he needs you, as his friend, unless he becomes single or tells you hes interested in you b/c it could make your friendship akward if he doesnt feel the same way about you.

This sounds so hard for you. This is probably what you dont want to do but if hes your best friend I think you need to tell him how you feel. But also tell him that you know nothing will ever happen between you guys because of his girlfriend. If your too shy have your cousin tell him. If he doesnt know then YOULL never know what could ever be between you guys and youll just spend alot of time thinking of what would have happened if you told him. Trust me itll work. Just think about it.
