Ok. Why is like 90% of the male population completely obsessed with the movie fight club? I mean its a good movie, i like it, but it seems like some people are almost obsessed with it to a point where its just rediculous. answers from anybody but mostly guys appreciated!
bluejeanbaby answered Friday January 25 2008, 12:15 am: because the movie is all about channeling male agression. the whole "fight club" idea he has in the movie is so men can get out their pent up anger. this is a concept that is really appealing to males. it idolizes everything the primal instincts of a male are all about: fighting and aggression, womanizing (hence the whole affair with that one chick where like all they do is bang all day every day), and later the destruction of corporate america with project mayhem, is something that probably a lot of teenage guys like to see. also the movie is a cool concept with cool actors edward norton and brad pitt in it, but these are the main reasons why it may be classified as a "guy movie" [ bluejeanbaby's advice column | Ask bluejeanbaby A Question ]
