so today i was taking random pictures and the flash was VERY bright even if i set the flash on low. so then all of a sudden the flash wouldnt even go on and it even said flash was on, even when i put it on high. so now its not working, and i just got it for christmas and i dont really want to tell me dad cause hes gonna kill me.. what should i do? oh and its not the settings or whatever.

You may not think it's the settings, but if you can take it in, maybe they can help you figure it out. Also, you could go to the manufacturer's website and see if they have a user forum, and post your question there. They may also have pdf manuals available for download.
