Antibiotic dosage and timing
I am currently on Amoxicillan (very mild antibiotic) and i have to take it every eight hours. i took my last dose at 4:45 pm and now it is 12 midnight. is it alright for me to take it a little bit earlier??

I know it's a little late now, but for future reference, yes, it's fine. I was taking Amoxicilan a couple of weeks ago after my root canal, and I was terrible at taking it every eight hours. Even an hour or two won't make that much of a difference. Just be sure to spread them out enough. In other words, don't take two in five hours just because you forgot to take one earlier.

Taking an antibiotic a little early or late is fine. You may want to just take it with a little food or a glass of milk so you don't get an upset stomach.

well, its only 45 minutes earlier. you claim its mild, so i would think its okay. but to be sure keep yourself occupied for 45 more minutes if you can. if you are about to go to bed and cant stay up any longer, i think it would be alright.
