attractive?

Question Posted Tuesday January 22 2008, 10:59 am

Everybody is always telling me how I'm gorgeous, and I'm just soo prety and one of the most beautiful girls they've ever seen. And guys tell me I'm hot. The thing is, I don't feel it. Like I know I am somewhat attractive, maybe just pretty, but there are always all these girls telling me that I'm so gorgeous and they wish they could look like me. I know that I am pretty, but I don't feel like I'm as pretty as other people say. How am I supposed to know if I'm pretty or not? Like besides what other people say becuase I just don't feel as attractive as what my friends all say to me. And this isn't a self esteem issue, at least I don't think it is...

Yea, you probably aren't all that attractive. Never mind that people say you're beautiful all the time, I'm just going to side with you on this one.

it isnt a self esteem issue its just i think you've head continous flatery and compliments the novelty has worn off and its something that dosnt have a value. You should feel pretty, maybe devlop a style , or change your hair style for example that you think looks good on you and not keep making yourself a certain way to please others. You're not meant to feel a certain way when you are atrractive, your just meant to be happy with yourself, and if your not, get a trend or style and stick to it to make yourself more different and stand out

honestly...dont worry too much about it...take it as a good thing. Do you know how few girls get told that? you MUST be pretty...and start to look at the possitives of you and your body, not the negatives. *warning* this gets cheesy: but, everyone is pretty...they just need to accept it and think of the possitives! ♥

You really shouldn't care what other people think. I know it's difficult not to and everyone does at some time or another. Go by how you feel. If you think you are attractive, you're attractive. I think it depends on how a person carries themselves. If they have good hygiene habits and are confident, they'll carry themselves well and be more attractive rather than if they had low self esteem and no confidence. You should also believe your closest friends and family. They shouldn't lie to you, even if they are nice. You should go by your opinion, because that's what really matters anyway.

-hope that helped!♥
