Weight loss with not much equipment.

Question Posted Monday January 21 2008, 4:18 am

Okay, so I know there is literally no "easy" way to lose weight and I understand this.

However, I need to know. How is the easiest way to lose weight? When I say easy I mean in a lot of 'areas' e.g. when you don't have a lot of equipment (I don't even have stairs to do cardio on, but I do have a lot of steep hills around my area)

Also, how many times a week should I do the work out and for how long?

Once again I understand it's not easy to lose weight and if the easiest way is like, sit ups thats okay!! also, it's for mostly stomach fat which will be hard I understand, but a good leg and thigh work out would be good too.

Well.
Eat healthily.
Breakfast- Fruit/muesli/yoghurt
Lunch- Salads or a healthy sandwhich + fruit
Dinner- Nutritious+ Healthy meal.

Drink water regularly.
Also cut down in salt, you will drop weight a lot faster if you eat as less salt as possible.

Running- go running for 30 minutes or so BEFORE you have dinner.

Try to do this everyday if possible.
On sundays or something go swimming.

Hope this helped :)

running is great and doesn't require buying equitment! try sit ups, crunches, push ups, stretching, and to work the lower abs lay down and bring your knees to your stomach...now move them away from your stomach and back towards it in that exact posistion without putting your legs on the ground.

i'm a cross country runner, not to lose weight but because i like it and i also do doggies [on all fours and two knees;lift your leg like a dog a few times on each side] and you can also face a wall; put your palms on it and lift your leg sideways up and down rapidly [but not too fast!] on each side. as some of these may be new or whatever start gentley and let your body rest if it feels tired.

i'd do these everyday or every other day! but give yourself a day off weekly. like every sunday for example.
