I've had this ONE pimple on my face since last week. It's not even really like a gross pimple or anything, it's basically like a red bump. Is there any way I could reduce the redness? Actually, is there any way I could get rid of it completely?
I've been washing my face obsessively, and putting this gel on it to get to get rid of it, and it's still not gone.
....is there anything else I could do?
please and thank you (:
1. (This is what I do.) put a tiny bit of neosporin on the area but don't put too much because there can be serious side effects.
Here are some natural remedies that might help:
Dab a small amount of toothpaste (paste, not gel) on pimples before bed; this helps dry out the pimples.
Mix equal amounts of lemon juice and rose water, apply to face with a cotton ball, and allow to sit for 30 minutes before rinsing. 15-20 days of this application helps cure pimples and also helps to remove blemishes and scars.
Apply fresh lemon juice on the affected area overnight. Wash off with warm water next morning.
For acne that hasn't seemed to respond to anything, steep 2-3 tsp. dried basil leaves in 1 cup boiling water for 10-20 minutes, cool, and apply to affected area with a cotton ball [ Peachgirly's advice column | Ask Peachgirly A Question ]
chickchat17 answered Thursday January 17 2008, 6:01 pm: washing your face repeatedly can actually make it worse.(try to stick to washing it twice a day to 3 times) just ice the pimple and put some cover up on it, preferably the king that is designed to help get rid of it. look for some special sulfer paste to put on it at night (avoid using toothpaste on it!!) the best way to get rid of it is to leave it be, or it it's really serious see a dermitologist. Try rubbing an ice cube on it or baking soda and toothpaste works well too, I know it sounds silly, but it does work.
