volunteer work in bay area

Question Posted Thursday January 17 2008, 2:04 am

Basically I'm from the Bay Area and for my science class I have to do volunteer work.
I really want to work with special needs kids, but I can't seem to find any where.
If anyone can help me I would be so glad
Thanks

I am not from the bay area however if you call up local business's that have developmentally disabled children I am sure you can explain your situation to them and they honestly would be more than happy to let you come in. I work with speacial needs children and I would describe myself as a generally loving person, so my point is that people that work them as well are loving people and would probably love to help you out with your volunteer work!

Good luck,
P. Trixi
