Butt and boobs shrinking

Question Posted Saturday January 12 2008, 7:31 pm

Hey im 16/f and in the past few weeks i have noticed that my butt and boobs have shrunk dramatically. (they were quite small to begin with lol) I really dont know why, I quit basketball this year so i am between my normal sports that are in the fall and spring, i also have been eating more, but i would think that would only make me fatter, right? (my stomach got a bit bigger) I also play indoor field hockey on a club team which is about twice a week so im not completly inactive, but my pants are sagging and my bras are too big now.

What could be causing this?
What can i do to stops this?
What can i do to make my boobs and butt bigger?

sry this was kinda long
thanks in advance for your help!

Since you are 16 years old, you're body is still growing everyday and your cells are reproducing in ridiculous amounts. It may just be a stage your body is going through and your hormones could be affecting where body fat is being stored. If it is a hormonal issue, theres a chance that your body will stabilize soon enough and everything would return to how it was. As far as making your chest and your butt bigger, that could be a rather hard task to accomplish, if it is possible at all. Everybody's body interprets body fat differently, which results in a storage of it in different parts through your body. Chest presses and dumbell flys I know, can increase the muscle in your chest, but it may not look the same as they were before. If you just tone that area up using small weight they might enlarge solely because your muscle would become defined, causing them to protrude more. For your legs you could do the same thing, doing squats and lunges to tone your glutes, once again using lighter weights to define. Using heavier weight with less repititions makes your muscle larger, while using lighter weight and more repititions makes your muscle more toned. If it is a hormonal issue, right now there is little you can do about it, except of course supplying your body with the nutrients and vitamins it needs to do it's thing. Since you are active, you could be losing fat in those areas, once again just because of how your body removes fat and stores it. If you have any specific questions that I didn't cover, I would be happy to do my best to answer them for you. Wish you lots of luck! :) Dave

If you stop working out certain parts of your body, they shrink.

For example, not doing squats and push-ups after you have been for awhile can make your boobs and butt lose muscle.

It happened to Jessica Simpson after she shot Dukes of Hazzard.

Weightloss causes you to shrink. It could just be an illusion.. the bigger you get it makes your boobs and ass look smaller.
