ipod broke

Hiya, my ipod is stuck on pause no matter what I do I only got it yesterday its the new apple classic and its stuck on pause. Ive tried restarting it pushing the middle button but nothings happening?
What should I do?

Did you push the middle button and the pause button at the same time, and hold it for like 10ish seconds?

The same thing happened to me. What you should do is just leave your iPod alone until it is shut off because it ran out of power. Then plug it into your computer and wait for it to charge. For me, after that everything was fine. Worst comes to worst, you bring it to the store and ask for help:]
