exam
ok im on birth control and i got it from my pediatrician last year. she gave me a year worth. well in may ill need a nw prescription. my mom says i have to go see the gynocologist because ive been sexually active. imnervous about the appointment. i dotn want somebody to be feeling my insides that i dont know. what is goign to happen at the exam?

This is normal.... for you to be scared that is. I was nervous my first time too. But the exam is just to make sure you dont have any diseases or cervical cancer. It is actually better for you and your body. They will probably do a papsmere. It really doesnt hurt. Just know that this test can only be done if you have been sexually active. They cannot do it if you have. It really will hurt then. They dont actually touch you with their hands. They use a plastic object that they put jelly on and stick into your vaginal area. It may feel alittle cold at first. But thats also normal. They then open it alittle so they can see inside but i promise this does not hurt. They take a plastic scrapper and scrape some samples from your vaginal walls. This also does not hurt, I barely felt it. It may tickle a little but doesnt hurt. I promise their is nothing to be scared of and it wont hurt. Just remember that they do this everyday, and they see it all the time so yours really wont make a difference. Afterwards, they tell you about some common diseases. This is only to make you aware. I promise you wont feel like you are in health class. Some of it is information that they dont give. This is only for your benefit. So good luck and remember to be brave.

and you need one yearly to get a renewal on your birth control pills. Just one of those things
