Okay so I'm having a 6th grade reunion party and I dont know what to do. Should I invite the WHOLE grade? and where should I have it, how should I plan it, and what should we do there? there is only like around 100 kids.
Where to have it also depends on when you're having it. You could have it in your backyard (if it is large enough) or at your house if it is warm enough. If it will be cooler, I think that you would be better off at a hall, like those sort of town buildings where people put in folding chairs and there's a stage. Where I live, there's a Friends Center, where there's a big stage on one side, and a huge floor in front of that. So if you have anything like that nearby you, you can do that.
You can also have a swim party. You could have it at the beach (warm weather), your pool (if you have one), or rent out a pool at a healthclub or YMCA for a night. There you could have pizza, swim, and play music.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
1. EXACTLY how many people to invite.
2. A place where that is available to hold the party.
3. Figure how much food to order (foods like pizza, chips, Cheetos, etc. are popular.)
4. Call a DJ ahead of time (if you're using one).
Tip: I think it would be a great idea if you had a screen show with a big screen and showed memorable photos from 6th grade, if you have any.
BerryWine answered Wednesday January 9 2008, 3:29 pm: Well if it is a reunion for the 6th grade class yes you would be inviting the whole class. If you want to limit the guest list to your own friends then do not call it a reunion, but just a party.
As for where to have it and what you should do you need to consider the budget for this event. Is this something the school is sponsoring and has designated funds for? If so talk with the adults on the committee and let them know you want to help with the planning. If this is something you are doing with the help of your parents then you need to speak with them about the planning. Think about the things that you and your classmates enjoy. Dancing? Amusement parks? Jotting down some common interests will help you get started. [ BerryWine's advice column | Ask BerryWine A Question ]
