wash me out?

what does "wash you out" mean?


i.e.:

"Make sure the makeup/clothing doesn't wash you out"

Simply put, you look pale/drained of color/sickly.

For example, a pink shirt could look really good with your skin tone, while a royal blue makes your skin look yellowey. Basically, "make sure your makeup/clothing doesn't wash you out" means "make sure the colors you get look good on you".

It's one of those things you figure out for yourself rather quickly, and probably already do without knowing it. =)

it means kinda like take over you make sure that you still look like you and your whole face isnt green or blue or the collor of your make up good luck i hope i helped
