Sprint has a phone somewhat similar to the Sidekick!

It's called the Rumor by LG

Hey, I have some unfortunate news/advice however.

Putting in a SIM card from a different phone company - WILL MESS THE PHONE UP. My friend wanted a Sidekick, and he decided to buy one off eBay. He bought it off eBay because like you - he's not a T-Mobile customer. He bought the phone, inserted the card - and.. the phone wasn't working right! The layout of the phone was all messed up, and he ended up having to buy a different phone. You can try, but the Sidekicks are problematic if you do not have T-Mobile as your service provider, because that is the only service it was created to work for.

I hope this was of some assistance, and I'm if it doesn't work out, though maybe you'll have some luck and it might! So in conclusion - best of luck with the phone stuff! (:
