hello, so i have the verizon chocolate (the older version not the newer one) and i was wondering if it had that feature where you can put a lock on your text messages like a password..?

You can lock your entire phone by going to the settings an enabling that feature. The password, unless changed by you, is your four-digit PIN, which is defaulted as the last four digits of your phone number. Locking a text message will keep it from being automatically deleted until you unlock it.

From what I know, there isn't an easy way to just lock a text message with a password...unless you are willing to become tech-savvy and trust a DIY guide that will walk you through encrypting and using codes on your phone and downloading weird programs.....well it just becomes a hassle. If you are still up for it, try Google. Hope that helped.

You can lock your whole phone.
