Quicktime to a windows movie maker supported

I have a quicktime video and i wanna edit it in windows movie maker but I cant. Im short on cash. How can i convert the .mov file to like .WMV?

I use WMM, too.

This is what I use to convert video to .avi:

(It is a free download.)

I'll give you instructions on how to do it:

-Once you have RAD open, Select your QT file.
-Select "Convert a File" at the very bottom.
-Next, if it doesn't show "Output file info" as an .avi, select "Output Type" then select .avi.
-On the far right, select "Convert."
