CONTRACTS IN AUSTRALIA.

Question Posted Saturday January 5 2008, 3:31 am

Is it illegal for someone under 18 to sign a contract without a parent or guardian present (Under Australian laws that is)

Also, if anyone has worked in fast food before have you ever had to sign heaps of stuff? Because I had to sign about 5 contracts (Filled with legal mumbo jumbo I didn't really understand, and neither did anyone else who started when I did) whereas people have told me they didn't have to sign ANYTHING.

(Once again in Australian law thingies)

Thanks :)

all the contracts could be because of your age. if you're younger, there's more to worry about.
