Screen Resolution.

Question Posted Friday January 4 2008, 11:43 am

Okay. My current screen res is 800x600, which I don't like. I'd prefer to have 1024x768 (that's the next option) BUT then everything is slightly too long for me to view. (My start bar is too long, etc.)

What can I do to fix this? I really hate 800x600, lol.

Please and thank you. <3

Theymos is right. Changing from an 800x600 resolution to an 1024x768 resolution will only make everything huge and grainy. You can change from 1024x768 --> 800x600, but not the other way around.

Get a new monitor. That's the only solution.
