warts on my face? I was washing my face with soap that my sister used on her foot that has a plantar wart. I didn't know at the time, until she told me later. Can I get a wart on my face?
THANKS

i would not worry about it, actually. i've never heard of a plantar wart anywhere but the foot, so unless your sister like rubbed her foot on an open wound on your face, it seems unlikely that you would get a wart. if you do notice anything, call a dermatologist immediately- they can definitely take care of it with no problem. ]
The wart is caused by the Papilloma virus, and it spreads by infecting cuts. So in other words, it needs to penetrate the skin in order to become a wart, otherwise nothing happens. I didn't find any information whether they can form on the face, it is only found on the foot. Also, the older you are, the more likely you are immune to the virus. So unless you had cuts on your face, and even if you did, I wouldn't worry about it.

It's possible, but I highly doubt it. Warts are contagious but they're more contagious when actually TOUCHED. Not through like soap and stuff. (: Don't worry about it. :DD ]
