You can also put a URL link through tinypic.com, but that is the way I'm still trying to figure out myself. I hope someone answers your question who can explain that to you.
As for backgrounds, under Column Settings, I click the link that says, "We also have some ready-made backgrounds for everyone here..."
Select the background of your choice, copy the little code thing (ex. "/img/bg/bg25.jpg") and paste to "Page background image (URL)" and "Sidebar background image (URL)" on the Column Settings page.
You can choose two different background images. One for page background, another for sidebar background, if you so choose.
Don't forget to select Submit, or your changes won't happen.
TheAnnie answered Wednesday January 2 2008, 9:42 pm: mske sure your picture is a jpeg and as for the background you have to look at the left tool bar thingy. under Miscellaneous it says age backgrounds. then you can look through them. hen ou selet one copy the code into your Coloumn setting in Backgrounds.
