mistaken porn, omg.

Question Posted Wednesday January 2 2008, 1:52 pm

I use limewire, and porn mysteriously gets downloaded onto it. And I know that I'm not doing it, or even doing it by mistake. And no one in my house is doing it, because no one has access to mine.

First of all, if you're sure that Limewire is the reason why there is porn, uninstall it.

Now, the security of your computer might be compromised if there are downloads that you did not initiate.

Make sure you have an up-to-date antivirus, firewall, and anti-spyware on your computer. If you don't have any of those, here are links to free ones that you can download.

Antivirus:

Firewall:

Anti-spyware:

After installing the programs, scan for viruses and spyware. Follow the instructions that show up on the screen. If you need more help, please feel free to ask.
