my laptop keyboard won't work

ok well my HP laptob keyboard won't work! it;s like it;s loked or something because when i plug in my wireless keyboard it works...does anyone know how to unlock it?

idk if this will help or not
but i have an HP laptop too, and try going to start, then control panel, and click on keyboard and then on the tab thing up top go to hardware and mine is set to Standard 101/102-Key. See if yours is on something else and try to change it?

i probably didnt help but thats what mine is set to

i have a dell and this happend to me also on mine there is this little switch right next to the air vent looking thing sorry if it dosnt work for hp good luck
