ok i'm probably starting to get extremely annoying bu this is te last one i swear. It's just, what do i say? I mean if I was to say "Hi" he would be like 'hey?" and that would be the end of it. And what if he doesn't respond it would be really embarassing. I was thinking of when he was alone at lunch being like "Hey I heard you're really smart so maybe you can help me with...random math problem. Just ahhh you gotta be specific just plz try an' help me.

yeah asking for help on a problem would be a good way to get a conversation going, if he knows the answer, so make sure its something doable. it seems like he likes you, so he will respond, so you dont have to worry about being embarrassed. directness works well, so after he helps you, invite him to hang out, if you go up to him at the beginning of lunch, ask him if he wants to eat lunch together. if he doesnt know the answer, you can always just say "thats ok, i just wanted to talk to you" most guys actually do like girls who make the first move.
