definition of mongomous

Question Posted Saturday December 29 2007, 5:44 am

What does 'mongomous' mean? I'm not sure if it's spelled right, it's probably not because I couldn't find a definition of it on google. It's just I've seen it a couple of times and I have an idea what it may mean.. but not completely sure. Any help?

it basically means that you believe in being married or with one person at a time. polygamy is where somebody is married to multiple people (and is present in some religions). a lot of people think that the latter day saints (mormons) believe in polygamy (and some do), but many don't. i'm not a mormon but that's normally where you hear the term polygamy.
