before you do anything like the laser whitening (which really does work well, by the way), go ahead and try the crest whitestrips. they do make a difference, no matter what color your teeth are. and you can definitely tell the difference within a few days. they probably couldn't get your teeth as white as the teeth on the right, but it would be a lot better than you started out with. your dentist might recommend some bleaching trays- ask about those too next time you go. ]
Whitestrips help a LOT. You'd be surprised.
Since your teeth are really yellow, you could even do them twice (wait about a month inbetween boxes though) Plus, it's a relatively inexpensive option. Get the regular ones, classic or whatever? The other ones are essentially the same but come in a better box.. that's about it.
Also, before you go out and spend a ton of money at the dentist, get Arm & Hammer Advance White toothpaste. It's not the greatest tasting (cause it has baking soda in it), but you'll get used to it. If it's really nasty-tasting, use that and then a regular toothpaste. I use that stuff daily & I drink coffee like it's my job. And my teeth are really white- I get compliments on them from random people, it's kind of weird but also lets me know that they're really white.
Good luck!

whitestrips will only whiten your teeth a couple of shades...I would suggest professional whitening like Zoom. That will whiten your teeth more drastically. whitestrips will only work for a while too. If you drink a lot of cokes, coffees, or teas they stain your teeth and lessing the whitening effect...so I suggest getting a whitening done at your dentist and then brushing with Colgate total because it will keep all of the food and drink stains away and flossing at least twice a day because food that gets caught under gums and in between teeth also causes discoloration. ]
