hair question (i want an afro)

ok so i have curly hair (it's like mini driver sort of... a bit less defined though) anyway so its short and i really really really want an afro! i want my hair to look like erica badu (on a good day :p) i use to be able to have it that way but mine kinda falls down.... i can't explain it but it creats this part in the middle of my head like it grows through there... i hateeeee it... how do i make my hair stand like hers??

OO Afro style...very nice. Have you tried using strong hold hairspray? Just spray it all over your hair after you style it into an afro. Hopefully that will help!

just go to the hair dressers and show them a picture of who you want your hair like and they can do it hope i helped good luck
