So I just started watching the Hills, I know the basics, but why was Lauren so mad at Heidi and in the flashback its like "I want to forgive you and to forget you" what happened between them?

she was mad at heidi because heidi and spencer spread a rumor about jason and lauren having a sex tape.
when lauren confronted heidi she compleatily denined it.

She was mad at Heidi because someone spread a rumor about her and Jason making a sex tape and it got all over the internet and practically everyone found out and she knew or thought she knew that Heidi and Spencer were the ones to spread the rumor. In that scene, Heidi was trying to make peace with Lauren about the whole thing, but wouldn't admit that she or Spencer had spread it.
