what times of the year are all stores/restaurants closed? thanksgiving and christmas and new year's only? is anything all open on those days? like 24/7 marts or something? thanks! this has been bothering me forever!

Yesterday the only places in our whole town that were open were Walgreens, a few gas stations near the interstate, & Sonic.

well, most stores are also closed labor day and the forth of july, while some stay open like walgreens
