Compressing A Video File??

Question Posted Saturday December 22 2007, 11:03 am

I just recently made a video in final cut pro and was wondering how to compress to the video to a

smaller size to stream over the internet as in youtube etc. The file is about 990 megabytes. I've

never compressed anything before so I'm not sure on how to do this, Any help would be great, thanks.

Use mediacoder to convert it to XviD:

It can be difficult to use, read the documentation or contact me if you need help:

If XviD doesn't work with youtube, convert it to MPEG-4. Also, move the quality slider a bit to the left.
