liking best friend

Question Posted Thursday December 20 2007, 11:14 pm

There's this guy, Danny. He's like, my best friend. We've both liked eachother, a lot. But whenever I think he'd ask me out, I always try to make it not happen, and it never does. The thing is, although I love him, I don't think I'd want to go out with him. I don't know why, it's not because I'd be judged or anything, he's a really cool guy. I just don't want to be in a relationship with him. Anyone know why? And have any advice?

You probably self consciencely feeling that you don't want your friendship to end if you go out with him than break up. If you really feel he likes you than talk to him. Surprisingly guys are very very understanding.

i was in your position, it's hard. it could be because since you guys are so close as friends, you don't want to damage your friendship, because that does happen often. it also could be because even though you like him, you just cant picture him as anything more than a really good friend. and sometimes the people who you were really good friends, end up being the worst boyfriends, because it's completly different from a boyfriend, to friend.

Well you probably might be afraid of your bff relationship might go bad if he manages to ask you out then tell him I really don't want to ruin our relationship we have now. Hope I could help. He should understand if you guys are best friends.

well then i think not making it happen if you dont want it might be bad kinda cause you will be acting weird and then he might not even want to be your friend so if he does ask you its no big deal just say is this going to lead to a relationship and if he says i dont know but i want it too then i think you might just be better off saying no its not going to ruin your friendship and if he says that its not a real date and its just 2 friends going out to dinner or the movies then why not go i hope i helped a little and i wish you good luck and a merry chirstmass
