I made a video but I can't load it onto youtube. It says something like wrong format. How do I make it the right format?

ok, i made a movie using that software and put it on youtube and here's what i had to do:
i believe, under file, there is a thing that says "export movie" or whatever. if you can't find it, search for it in the help section... anyway, it will tell you to rename the movie and then it will save it as like a flash file or something (if you choose to export to a website). then, you can upload it to youtube at the youtube website. also, videos can't be over 10 minutes long on youtube, so you may have to split it up if it's too long. here's an excerpt from a website i just found: "YouTube accepts AVI, MPEG video, no WMV, MP4 or MOV video, when you have problem about the video format, you need a video converter to convert your video to the right format for YouTube." so, you would need to export your movie as either an .avi (what i did) or an mpeg. and then you are free to upload.

You are probably saving it in file, save as. This will not work. You must save it in file, save MOVIE FILE. If it still doesn't work, convert it to something else with mediacoder:

First, did you save the video to your computer through WMM?
If you've done that, and it still doesn't work, get a video converter to convert it to an avi.
I use Bink and Smaker RAD.
