orphans answered Tuesday December 18 2007, 2:11 pm: abreva and/or zovirax. but if you cant go to the store...break it with a needle or something. then put warm water and salt in a bottle and shake it. then open the bottle and put it over the cold sore. and let it sit there soaking for a while. my friend told me that a few months ago and i did it and it worked. it will have a sore cut spot i guess, a small one, but its better than a huge blistery sick thing! ahha. ps, holding ice reduces swelling if its too late.
