How do I show him how I feel this holiday?

Question Posted Saturday December 15 2007, 2:43 pm

My boyfriend and I live about 40 minutes away and usually only get to see each other two or three times a week because we're both so busy. Sometimes its a stressful realtionship but its worth ever single moment.

Last night when he came over he gave me my Christmas present saying he couldn't wait any longer. It was a diamond necklace. An extremely expensive diamond necklace. Let me just say here that he's only a junior in highschool and has a part time job at Staples.

I was having trouble before trying to think of what to give him. But now its even harder. What says I love you without being too much? And how can I compair with his gesture? I'm not saying this is a competition of who can get who the better gift its just a matter of me feeling that I should get him something as amazing as what I got me.

Any suggestions?

I dont think its the money that counts but the feeling it gives him. Give him something sentimental. Like a framed photo of you two together so when he misses you he can look at that. You could also get rings engraved with both of your names and dates or something. Hope I helped a bit.

you could always just tell him how you feel and give him something that doesnt have to be expansive but also meaningful tho something that means so much to you and you should just give him that and tell him how much it means to you and he would realize how much you care about him and everything

Yes, your right, don't get anything thats way more expensive then he got you, because then he might feel bad. And if what you get him is less expensive then what he got you, he may feel special. You could never go wrong with some cologne that smells super yummy, like the Abercrombie cologne "Fierce." If you don't like that idea, you could get him something (like a jersey) with his favorite team.
